Piety, Study, Action can you remember the definition?
Piety is the active relationship you have with God.
Study is actively seeking the truth.
Action is sharing. We all know our catch phrase; Be a friend, Make a friend, bring a friend to Christ.
Wendie asked us what did Luther say about BRING? No one can come to God but through the Holy Spirit. So, she asked us to think of bring as doing an introduction. Instead of bring a friend to Christ; Introduce a friend to Christ. She reminded us that it doesn’t have to be hard. It can be something as simple as having a conversation with people.
Seeking the truth plainly put study isn’t an option. It opens your mind. How can you trust what you don’t know? If you aren’t studying the Bible, how can you come to know God?
Action can be as simple as offering to pray for someone that you know or think is going through a tough time. Action can also be you actively reading your bible daily. Today there are many different ways you can study the bible; one simple way is to listen to a Podcast.
